Why?
Both weighings contain the very same box, so when the two totals are compared the box's weight sits on both sides and cancels out of the difference.

The only change between the two weighings was putting in 2 more bars, so the difference measures just those 2 bars.

Taking the earlier total away from the later one undoes the adding that happened in between, leaving only what was put in.
Find one bar's weight
Those 150 g are the weight of 2 identical bars, so split it into 2 equal parts to find one bar.
Equal bars means equal shares, so dividing the extra weight by 2 gives one bar.

Three bars weigh 3 x 75 = 225 g, so the box alone is 455 - 225 = 230 g.
Once one bar is known, the box is simply the total minus all the soap inside it.
